I have produced numerous brochures, fact sheets, posters, rack cards, newsletters, and various other promotional and educational tools, both in print and online. Most of these are in the field of health promotion and cancer prevention for the BC Provincial Cancer Agency.
For some of print publications, I handle the design myself; for others, I work with a designer, such as Chantal Gabriel of SeaShine Design.
In addition to print publications, I was the site editor for hi5living.org, a health promotion and cancer prevention website for youth. Launched in Nov. 2009, the site has picked up two awards: a Best in Class from the 2010 Interactive Media Awards, and an Outstanding Web Award from the 2010 Web Awards. I am currently writing all the text for a new website on second primary cancer, www.prevention4survivors.com, which will launch in 2013.
